BlackBerry Jam Asia 2013 is the second BlackBerry event after they released BlackBerry 10 as their brand new OS. Unlike the previous BlackBerry Jam, on this year will be focused on how to leverage the BlackBerry 10. In addition to the BlackBerry Jam Asia in Hongkong, there are also BlackBerry Jam America that has been held on May 14 to 16 in Orlando, Florida. BlackBerry Jam Europe that will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on 14 to 15 January next year. So, what kind of activity at BlackBerry Jam Asia 2013? BlackBerry Jam Asia 2013
The main session of BlackBerry Jam Asia is held on 26 to 27 September 2013. General Session is the most important session at that time. In this session, every participant will be enlighten about the future of mobile computation especially on BlackBerry 10. The keynote speakers of General Session is the executive board of BlackBerry. Too bad the WiFi always disconnect simultaneously, it could be a trouble if participant had to post live report.
Every session was held for one hour and run in small group with 15-20 participants in each session. The session called Ask The Experts and held in small groups, participant will get a chance to ask anything related to BlackBerry 10 and find out the potential of this OS straight from the BlackBerry engineer. Not only from them, participant also allowed to dig more information from developer across the world whose develop mobile apps on BlackBerry 10. The problem is, they have to find out the difference between The Expert and participant since The Expert blended together with the participant.
BlackBerry Dev Alpha C
Apart from the main session, at 24 to 25 September also held workshop discuss about the development of mobile apps and games on BlackBerry 10. The participant also allowed to try device from BlackBerry, including the brand new Z30. The most interesting moment on this event is every single participant will be handed a $10 voucher along with special device: The BlackBerry Dev Alpha C. Although the closing ceremony was pretty bad, this event definitely enlighten to every single developer, had a chance to meet BlackBerry developer across the world and meet BlackBerry engineer is rare opportunity.
All in all, the BlackBerry developers hopes this event goes as annual event, of course they have to work hard to make BlackBerry 10 more interesting and used by many people.

Sesi utama dari BlackBerry Jam Asia diselenggarakan pada tanggal 26 – 27 September 2013. General Session adalah sesi yang paling penting di acara itu. Setiap sesi diselenggarakan selama satu jam. Setelah itu sesi Ask The Experts diselenggarakan dalam grup kecil sekitar 15-20 peserta. Mereka akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk bertanya apapun yang berhubungan dengan BlackBerry 10 dan mengetahui potensi dari OS ini langsung dari engineer BlackBerry. Tidak hanya dari mereka, peserta juga diperbolehkan untuk menggali informasi dari beberapa developer dari seluruh dunia yang telah membuat dan mengembangkan aplikasi di BlackBerry 10. Masalahnya adalah, peserta harus bisa mengetahui perbedaan antara The Expert dan peserta biasa karena The Expert berbaur bersama para peserta.
Terlepas dari acara sesi utama, pada tanggal 24 – 25 September juga diadakan workshop yang membahas tentang pengembangan aplikasi mobile dan game di BlackBerry 10. Para peserta juga diperbolehkan untuk mencoba device dari BlackBerry, termasuk Z30. Momen yang paling menarik adalah ketika para peserta diberikan $10 dan device khusus: BlackBerry Dev Alpha C. Walaupun acara penutupannya kurang menarik, event ini sangat mencerahkan setiap developer BlackBerry, memiliki kesempatan untuk bertemu developer BlackBerry dari seluruh dunia dan bertemu engineer BlackBery adalah kesempatan yang langka.
